Look away from this accursed text, for neither the forces of light nor darkness are immune to the hexes within!
Hello, world! A friend of mine from that eerie world known as "real life" told me about this site and sent a link my way. I believe his username here is Raven, or something like that. I Happen to really enjoy the whole angel/demon premise that a lot of things have, and have been dying to roleplay something of the sort for years now. It also helps that lately I've been reading Simon R. Green's Nightside books and have been watching the TV series Supernatural, so those two have been getting me even more in the mood.
I can honestly consider myself literate, though am at the same far from perfect (as if the comma spam wasn't enough to point that out). I've been roleplaying since 1996, starting with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2.0 and going from there. No, I am not one of those steriotypical D&D nerds who are "limited by stats". I can assure you all that my mind and imagination work well enough without them. I just like having rules in place, as the honor system is at times faulty.
As far as what I intend to do on this site . . . Without giving anything away, I would like to say that my specialty and greatest interest is playing villains. That in mind, the heroes out there shouldn't see my profile and go "his characters are all evil! I can't trust him!!" If you do then you'll likely attack one of the good guys. Yes, I have those, too. I am also a huge believe in the gray area of the alignment scale, even in a normally black and white scenario such as this. So, in short, I generally won't make my alignment common knowledge save perhaps for a couple people (any admin/mods that need to know, for example). Tread carefully, for heroes might be villains, villains may be heroes, and big brother is always watching.
